From the culmination of the research I have carried out and still have to post on my blog I have set myself the following outcome to create within the final time period of this project.
- Through my exploration of social class and what qualifies as 'good taste' I shall create a set of three net curtains.
-The curtains will be beautifully realised, conveying content that challenges the status quo. And highlighting the nations sentiments of social etiquette through class divisions of society.
- The purpose of this to be of each curtain depicting one of three sets of social classes I have identified (yet to post on blog) and to visually communicating the taboos, boundaries and parameters society confines through the structure of stereotypes. i.e. the sloanie, chav etc...
- The curtains will be beautifully realised through graphic illustration and typography in which I will utilise my skill base as surface pattern designer.
- The dimensions and materials are yet to be defined due to the fact that I am currently in the experimentation process and have yet to see what works and doesn't.
- Once completed the curtains will be photographed in and out of situ, alongside filmed to which i may decide to use as an appropriate outcome if successful.
